An essential part of being an awesome uncle<\/a> is having a repertoire of tricks and jokes that will amaze your nieces and nephews, and crack them up. So from time to time we\u2019ll be offering you current and future uncles out there a tutorial on some gags that\u2019ll have them thinking you\u2019re the coolest dude in the world.<\/em><\/p>\n Bouncing a dinner roll<\/a> isn’t the only food-related shenanigan you can pull on your nephews and nieces. While not necessarily appropriate for the dinner table, smashing a grape through your forehead and back out your mouth is sure to entertain the little ones (and possibly have them smashing grapes into their own foreheads to less successful returns)!<\/p>\n 1. The set-up: Put a grape in your mouth while no one is looking. Don\u2019t swallow it.<\/p>\n 2: Get another grape that has a stem and put in your hand (make sure it\u2019s the same color as the one in your mouth!). Hold the grape by the stem between your first and second fingers. Show the grape to your captive audience.<\/p>\n 3: The Trick: Pretend to transfer the grape into your empty hand. You\u2019ve got to really sell the reality of the transfer!<\/p>\n 4: Tilt your back and immediately smack your forehead with your empty hand…. the hand your audience thinks the grape is in. Be dramatic about this.<\/p>\n 5: Spit out the grape that you secretly put in your mouth before the trick started. Bask in the awe and adulation.<\/p>\n Like this illustrated guide?
