An essential part of being an awesome uncle<\/a> is having a repertoire of tricks<\/a> and jokes that will amaze your nieces and nephews, and crack them up. A common theme of cool uncle tricks is that they 1) make your nieces and nephews laugh, while 2) annoying the rest of the adults. The shrieking sound emitted by the grass whistle has got this covered in spades. It’s a great one to bust out for those Fourth of July BBQs and fireworks-watching parties. And here’s a bonus trick that also involves grass: use a blade to tickle the ankles of those you’re sitting behind. They’ll spend the evening slapping away imaginary mosquitoes!<\/p>\n

  1. Place a nice thick blade of grass between your two thumbs.<\/li>\n
  2. Place back of thumbs against your mouth and blow! You know you\u2019re successful by the annoying screeching sound coming out from your thumbs.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
