Today, I&#8217;m going to show you how to make your own. Four-pack cartons also work, but the notebooks will be a little bit smaller and a little bit harder to put together.<\/li>\n<li>Paper &#8212; blank, graph, lined. Whatever floats your boat.<\/li>\n<li>Stapler<\/li>\n<li>Scissors or paper cutter<\/li>\n<li>Pocket knife<\/li>\n<li>Pencil<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Building the Notebook<\/h3>\n<p><strong>1. If you mess up, there&#8217;s always another one on the other side! It will also be connected to the pack&#8217;s insides, so just carefully tear it away.<\/p><\/div>\n<p><strong>2. I traced 10 pages, which is 20 pages for the notebook when they&#8217;re folded in half.<\/p><\/div>\n<div id=\"attachment_46721\" style=\"width: 560px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-46721\" class=\"wp-image-46721 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/content.artofmanliness.com\/uploads\/2015\/04\/IMG_3401.jpg\" alt=\"Two pieces of page.\" width=\"550\" height=\"366\" srcset=\"https:\/\/content.artofmanliness.com\/uploads\/2015\/04\/IMG_3401.jpg 550w, https:\/\/content.artofmanliness.com\/uploads\/2015\/04\/IMG_3401-320x213.jpg 320w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 550px) 100vw, 550px\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-46721\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">When you cut, do it just inside the line you traced. An 1\/8&#8243; inside the line on all sides will do. This is so the pages sit nicely inside the notebook rather than peeking out. After you&#8217;ve cut, fold each page in half individually; this creates a better fold than doing multiple pages at once.<\/p><\/div>\n<p><strong>3. My first attempt ended in a bungled mess of cardboard. So, take your pocket knife and neatly score it down the middle. (Clips could help keep everything in place, but I did just fine without.) Carefully staple at the seam; I did two staples, one at the top and one at the bottom, and it&#8217;s holding up quite well.<\/p><\/div>\n<p><strong>5.
