I discovered her book after I finished <a href=\"https:\/\/www.artofmanliness.com\/articles\/manly-honor-part-i-what-is-honor\/\">our massive series on the origins and decline of traditional honor in the West<\/a> and I wished I had it as a source during my research. It&#8217;s one of the best books I&#8217;ve read, and every time I re-read it, I&#8217;ve gotten new insights. Barton, book cover.\" width=\"300\" height=\"471\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Like I said, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/0520225252\/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&amp;camp=1789&amp;creative=390957&amp;creativeASIN=0520225252&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;tag=stucosuccess-20&amp;linkId=DPJ5I2UNCKCN7UBV\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em>Roman Honor <\/em><\/a>is a&nbsp;fantastic book and highly recommend picking&nbsp;up a copy. It&#8217;s not an easy read, but a worthwhile one. The footnotes are just as and sometimes even more interesting than the main text. It&#8217;s crazy expensive because of its limited run, but I&#8217;ve gotten my money&#8217;s worth from it and then some.<\/p>\n<p>Despite the length of my&nbsp;conversation with Dr. Barton, I had to cut out half the questions I wanted to ask!
